A vintage Iran flag that was flown on a merchant ship and recovered at Alang, India, where ocean-going ships are dismantled. It measures about 68 × 45 cm (26.8 × 17.7 in) and is double sided.
Ships fly national flags as their own ensign, or as a courtesy flag when they call at a country’s ports.
This flag has seen real use at sea, so expect fading, marks, frayed edges or old repairs. These are part of its history. The photos show this exact piece.
A good piece for a home, bar or restaurant, or framed as maritime décor.
