Every piece has a story to tell
Vintage Ship Artifacts was founded in 2024 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, to preserve the timeless beauty of maritime history. Our passion for nautical antiques led us to curate authentic ship lights, maritime artifacts and coastal-inspired pieces that bring the charm of the sea into modern spaces.
Each item is carefully selected and restored so that it is not only beautiful but also works in everyday use — in homes, restaurants and businesses.
We are new, and we would rather tell you that plainly. What we bring is a genuine love of nautical history and a commitment to doing each piece properly.

Where our artifacts come from
From the ship-recycling yards of Alang
Bhavnagar district, on the Gulf of Khambhat, is home to Alang — one of the largest ship-recycling centres in the world. Ocean-going vessels from many countries are brought here to be dismantled at the end of their working lives.
Most of the pieces in our collection come from ships dismantled at Alang: lights, instruments and fittings built to survive years at sea, many of them in brass, copper and aluminium.
Being based in Bhavnagar puts us close to that source, so we can select pieces with care before they join the collection.
A second working life
Every piece has already served at sea. Restoring it gives it a second life — above a kitchen island, along a restaurant wall, or at the entrance to a hotel.

No two salvaged pieces are alike. Each one is carefully selected and restored, and every light is tested before it ships.
